ROBINSON CRUSOE

November 16-21 :: Pinedale Auditorium
Missoual Children's Theatre return to Pinedale this time with the classic survival tale of Robinson Crusoe. Rehearsals are open to Pinedale students grades K-12.

THE HOBBIT*

Friday :: January 15 :: 7:00 pm
Canadian puppet theater group Theatre San Fil return to Pinedale this time bringing their award-winning production of the The Hobbit, the classic tale of Bilbo Baggins!

From Alaska, Telluride Band contest winner Bearfoot features twin fiddles, fast-picking mandolin and guitars, an upright bass and beautiful harmony vocals.

Obie award winner Bob Berky is an internationally acclaimed playwright, actor, director, theatrical clow and musician. Berky will be performing his one-man comedy act.

Grammy-nominated storyteller returns to Pinedale for week-long residency in the Sublette School Districts as well as an evening performance for the community.

PFAC TICKET WINNERS

PFAC raffled off both season tickets and individual tickets held at our Chamber Mixer Aug. 27. The winner of the season tickets was Nancy Ruf and the winner of individual tickets were Cristy Otto (Cinderella) and Al Zueck (Riders in the Sky). Congradulations!

PFAC RECEIVES FUNDING FOR FOR JONAH PROGRAMS
PFAC recently received funding from EnCana to present programming in the Jonah Field this upcoming season.

PFAC RECEIVES WAC, WESTAF FUNDS
The Pinedale Fine Arts Council received funding from Wyoming Arts Council and the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) to help fund the 2009-2010 season and educational residencies in the schools.


RAINES FEATURED IN WALL STREET JOURNAL
Legendary bluegrass bassist Missy Raines is the subject of a recent Wall Street Journal feature on women in bluegrass. Raines and her band The New Hip will be performing in Pinedale on July 17 in the American Legion Park.

ULTRA PETROLEUM DONATES $5,000 to PFAC
Ultra Petroleum recently donated $5,000 to PFAC. The donation will help fund arts programming in Sublette County.

ARTS MEAN BUSINESS
Wyoming Arts Council chair Bruce Richardson recently wrote a response to a Casper Star-Tribune opinion column regarding arts in the stimulus package. Read the response letter here.


PFAC RECEIVES ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER GRANT
The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation has awarded a $2,000 grant to the Pinedale Fine Arts Council to help support its 2008-2009 season of arts education programming. Read the full press release here.
